The Fresno County Sheriff's Office rescued three young swimmers Wednesday afternoon after they were stranded on the Madera County side of Lost Lake.
Lt. Louis Hernandez of the sheriff's office said that debris blocked the swimmers, aged 11, 12 and 18, from returning to the Friant side of the lake. Deputies used boats to tow the swimmers back to safety.
There were no injuries.
