Police seek help to ID southwest Fresno robbery suspects (video)

On Sunday, June 22, 2014, at 2:40 A.M. patrol officers responded to a victim of an strong arm robbery. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the AM PM gas station located at 1212 Fresno St. As the victim was walking from the gas pumps to the store, he was approached by the suspects. The suspects attacked the victim and one pulled a chain and heart pendent from the victim's neck. The suspect then ran to a nearby vehicle and fled the area. If anybody has information regarding the suspects, they are urged to contact Fresno Police Department South/West Investigations Unit Detective Rick Mora at (559) 621-6109. Citizens with information can also call Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP.


Police are asking for the public's help to identify four people involved in a robbery early Sunday morning at a southwest Fresno gas station.

Police say the suspects approached the victim at the AM PM on Fresno Street at the Highway 99 southbound on-ramp, pulled a chain and heart pendant from the victim's neck, then jumped into a white Chevrolet or Ford pickup. Police say witnesses reported seeing a black tool box in the truck bed.

The suspects are described as four black males in their 20s, each standing approximately 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 150 to 200 pounds.
