Rawhide Report for 6/24: Visalia 6, Bakersfield 4

Winning home run: Daniel Bowman hit a two-run homer with two outs in the eighth to drive in the winning runs as the Visalia Rawhide defeated the host Bakersfield Blaze 6-4 on Tuesday. Rawhide starting pitcher Brandon Sinnery had five strikeouts and scattered five hits and two walks for two runs in six innings. DH Steve McQuail drove in three runs.

Bright future: Rawhide pitcher Braden Shipley was named to Team USA for the Futures Game, which will be played during All-Star Weekend at Target Field in Minnesota. Shipley is 5-3 with a 3.41 ERA and 75 strikeouts in 71 1/3 innings pitched.
