Officers are in a hurry

June 24, 2014

Re John Pearson's letter June 19, I would like to remind him that the officer he is complaining about was most likely not taking care of personal business.

When you see officers driving like they are in a hurry, it's most likely because they are going to an urgent call involving a stranger in need of help and are not authorized to use their emergency lights. One day an officer may be called to Mr. Pearson's house. Let's hope he or she obeys all the laws on the way there.
