Cunha covers the bases

June 24, 2014

"It makes all the sense in the world — pragmatically, economically, and morally — to provide them the health care that will keep them and their families healthy," wrote Manuel Cunha Jr., president of the Nisei Farmers League in The Bee on June 19, referring to those agriculture workers who produce our food.

We, especially our Fresno County Board of Supervisors, would do well to heed his entire op-ed. He covers all the bases ending with the reminder, "We are stronger and healthier together, when everyone is covered and able to participate in our heath care system." Well said, Mr. Cunha.
