Fresno police release video, ask for help solving car theft

On Wednesday, May 28th at approximately 6:45 a.m., the unknown suspects stole the victim's 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup from his residence located near Cedar and Olive in Southeast Fresno. The suspects were caught on video surveillance and described as two Hispanic male adults. Anyone with information on the identity of these suspects is asked to call Detective Todd Steinhardt at 621-6308, or email him at If you wish to remain anonymous you call Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP (7867) where you can receive up to a $1000 reward for information leading to an arrest. This case is documented under FPD case 14-38705.


Fresno police on Monday released a video of a vehicle theft in east-cental Fresno and asked for help identifying the two suspects.

The crime took place May 28 near Cedar and Olive avenues about 6:45 a.m.
