Police: Visalia bank robbery suspect arrested in Bakersfield

A man who is suspected of robbing a Visalia bank has been arrested in Bakersfield, Visalia police said Monday.

Orion Johnson, 47, was arrested Saturday by Bakersfield police and linked to last year's robbery of a Wells Fargo bank on Mooney Boulevard, police said.

Just before noon on Dec. 13, he approached a teller, showed a gun, demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Johnson was booked into the Kern County Jail on several counts of robbery.
