Police dog catches alleged fuel thief at Visalia Industrial Park business

Police arrested a man on burglary charges Sunday night after he allegedly stole fuel from work trucks in the Visalia Industrial Park.

About 11:30 p.m., officers alerted to the possibility of a burglar on the lot of Broken Drum Installation on Grove Avenue sent a police dog onto the lot and caught John Stuhaan, 37.

Stuhaan was treated for a dog bite at Kaweah Delta Medical Center and booked into the Tulare County Jail on charges of burglary, resisting arrest and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
