Rawhide Report for 6/21: Visalia 10, San Jose 2

The Fresno BeeJune 21, 2014

Tensions raised: Aaron Blair struck out nine in seven innings but triggered warnings to both teams after he threw behind a player who knocked Visalia's catcher out of what was an eventual 10-2 victory for the Rawhide over visiting San Jose in Cal League action Saturday night.

Two the hard way: San Jose's Mitch Delfino was thrown out trying to score on a fourth-inning sacrifice fly, with Ronnie Freeman hanging on to the ball despite the collision. It went as a double play to end the inning, and Freeman left the game after that.

Up next: Rawhide RH Braden Shipley (0-1, 3.86) faces RH Kendry Flores (3-4, 5.19) in the series finale at 6 p.m. Sunday. Flores tossed seven shutout innings last time out before the All-Star break.
