Motorcyclist dies following crash west of Highway 99 in Fresno

A motorcyclist critically injured Friday evening in a crash west of Highway 99 in Fresno has died.

The Fresno County Coroner's Office identified the man as Jason Berry, 30. He was pronounced dead about 6:50 p.m. at Community Regional Medical Center. Berry's residence was not provided.

Berry collided with a black sedan at Cornelia Avenue just south of Ashlan Avenue on Friday evening, Fresno police said.

Drugs and alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash, Fresno police Lt. Phil Cooley said Friday.
