The Fresno BeeJune 20, 2014

California Assembly Republican leader Connie Conway of Tulare will attend the Saturday dedication of a Visalia overcrossing that will be named after Cpl. Jared Verbeek, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2011.

The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on the South Giddings Avenue overpass over Highway 198 in Visalia.

Conway authored Assembly Concurrent Resolution 129, which officially dedicates the overpass to the fallen soldier.
