Lindsay man arrested for alleged kidnapping of a woman

A Lindsay man is is custody in connection with the kidnapping of a woman, Tulare County Sheriff's deputies report.

The alleged kidnapping took place around 9 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Laurel Avenue. The victim, also a Lindsay resident, reported that she was contacted by three men who ordered her into their vehicle. She was able to escape when the driver stopped at a store.

Javier De La Trinidad, 31, in the 700 block of Homassel Street, was booked into the Tulare County Jail.
