One-way traffic control on Highway 43 continues in Kings, Tulare counties

The Fresno BeeJune 19, 2014

One-way traffic controls are scheduled to take place from Monday through June 27 between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. in Tulare and Kings counties.

Highway 43 in Tulare County will be limited to one-way traffic in two separate areas between the county lines of Kings and Tulare and Tulare and Kern. Highway 43 will also be reduced to one-way traffic in Kings County between Highway 198 and the Kings-Tulare county line.

Construction crews will be flagging people through the work zone. Motorists delayed at driveways and intersections must wait for a pilot car and obey all signage to safely proceed through the work zone.

Commuters can expect delays of up to 20 minutes and are encouraged to use alternate routes during the construction hours, if possible.

Caltrans has continued the one-way traffic control as part of a pavement rehabilitation project.
