Fresno City College seeks applicants for single-parent counseling program

Fresno City College is accepting applications from eligible single-parent students interested in counseling and advising services for the fall 2014 semester through the Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) Program.

To be eligible, students must be at least 18, a head of household, and a single parent to at least one child under 14. In addition, the single parent household or dependent child must be receiving welfare assistance or have an active CalWORKS number. The student must meet all requirements of the college's extended opportunity program.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will be available in the Fresno City College EOPS/CARE Office and online at www.fresnocitycollege.edu/care.
