ELIZABETH AKINDELE

• Vitals: Junior, Clovis North

• Stopwatch: Helped Broncos to their first Central Section team title by winning the Masters Championship shot put at a school-record 41 feet, 3½ inches -- a 6-foot improvement in one year.

HANNAH BENOIT

• Vitals: Junior, Buchanan

• Stopwatch: Scored a Masters fourth-best 18½ points by winning the 1,600 (4:57.50), placing third in the 800 (2:14.09) and running a leg on a gold medal 1,600 relay (3:51.90). Her season-best times of 2:08.75 in the 800 and 4:51.33 in the 1,600 (converted from yards) rank fourth in the section. And her 3,200 best of 10:46.99 is No. 12 all-time in the section and No. 6 for a junior.

YAMILET BIGGERS

• Vitals: Sophomore, Buchanan

• Stopwatch: Helped the Bears nearly upset Clovis North in the Masters by placing third in the 400 (56.95) and fifth in the 200 (25.14) and running legs on a gold medal 1,600 relay (3:51.90, No. 10 all-time in the section) and silver medal 400 relay (47.29). The Bears' season-best 47.28 in the 400 relay is a school record and No. 11 all-time in the section.

CYINNA BOOKER

• Vitals: Senior, Tulare Western

• Stopwatch: Won the Masters triple jump (38-3¼) and placed 10th in the state (37-10¼). Her season best 39-11/4 is a school record and No. 9 all-time in the section.

MELESE CROZIER

• Vitals: Senior, Edison

• Stopwatch: Helped lead the Tigers to a third-place finish in the Masters by placing second in the 400 (56.35) and running legs on 400 (46.59) and 1,600 (3:53.54) relays that placed first and second. Her season-best 56.01 400 is No. 9 all-time in the section, and Edison's 46.26 400 relay is No. 2 in section annals.

MIRANDA KENNEDY

• Vitals: Junior, Buchanan

• Stopwatch: Delivered an impressive distance double in the Masters by placing second in the 1,600 (4:57.85) and 3,200 (10:56.24). Her season-best 10:42.78 in the 3,200 is No. 9 all-time in the section and No. 5 for a junior.

CaNISHA LEWIS

• Vitals: Senior, Edison

• Stopwatch: An active, productive Masters saw her place second in the 100 (11.80) and fourth in the 200 (24.73) and run on 400 (46.59) and 1,600 (3:53.54) relays that finished first and second.

LYNDSEY LOPES

• Vitals: Junior, Clovis West

• Stopwatch: A Junior World-level heptathlete and one of the best in state history, she showed parts of her versatility by scoring a Masters fourth-best 22 points with seconds in the 300 low hurdles (43.86) and high jump (5-5), a third in the 100 high hurdles (14.35) and running a leg on a ninth-place 1,600 relay. She competes in the seven-event, non-CIF sanctioned heptathlon in AAU meets.

LAUREN MOFFETT

• Vitals: Sophomore, Clovis North

• Stopwatch: One of the leading sophomore distance runners in the state, she placed third in the 1,600 (5:03.68) and fourth in the 3,200 (10:56.28) and carried the baton on a fourth-place 1,600 relay (3:56.18) in the Masters.

LEIGH MOFFETT

• Vitals: Senior, Clovis North

• Stopwatch: The Bee's 2013 girls cross country Runner of the Year won the Masters 3,200 (10:46.15). Her season-best 10:35.15 is No. 6 all-time in the section. Next: Dartmouth.

BETH ROSSI

• Vitals: Senior, Clovis North

• Stopwatch: Cousin to former Bee football Player of the Year Christian Rossi of Clovis North, she won the Masters pole vault (11-7). Next: Cal State Northridge.

HANNAH WALLER

• Vitals: Sophomore, Buchanan

• Stopwatch: Followed a spectacular freshman season with an even better one, repeating her Masters 400 title (54.57) and placing third in the state at 54.04 -- a school record and No. 2 all-time only to Bakersfield's Janice Nichols (53.89, 1990) in section history. Waller scored a Masters third-best 22½ points by also placing second in the 200 (wind-aided 24.04) and running on 1,600 (3:51.90) and 400 (47.29) relays that finished first and second.
