The Tulare County Sheriff's Department has issued a wanted poster for a suspect in the Orosi shootout that left one of the alleged robbers dead.

The Tulare County Sheriff's Office on Monday identified the man who detectives say was involved in a home-invasion robbery in Orosi in which an accomplice was shot and killed.

Wanted is Edgar Picazo, 18, of Tipton. He is 6 foot 3 inches, 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

About 5:30 a.m. on May 27, several people forced their way into a home in Orosi.

A gun battle took place when a 22-year-old man in the home opened fire to protect himself and three younger siblings, the sheriff's office said.

Alleged robber Victor Deharo, 21, of Orosi, was shot and killed in the incident. He died at the scene.

The 22-year-old was also shot but survived and was taken to a hospital.

Alleged robber Rolando Magana, 18, of Orosi, was shot and wounded, but was taken to a hospital by his fellow robbers who then fled, the sheriff's department said. Magana is charged with murder.

Also charged with murder is Francisco Padilla, 21, arrested last week in Bakersfield.
