Hanford man killed in single-vehicle crash south of Riverdale

A 38-year-old Hanford man was killed early Monday in a one-vehicle crash south of Riverdale, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident took place about 2:30 a.m., the CHP said. The man was driving south on Marks Avenue south of Wood Avenue when his 2000 Chrysler drifted off the road and overturned in a field. The victim died at the scene.

It is not known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The driver's identity was not released pending notification of family.
