Omaha converts sweep: In a back-and-forth affair, the Omaha Storm Chasers prevailed for a 10-7 win over the Fresno Grizzlies on Sunday in front of 5,603 fans at Chukchansi Park. The Storm Chasers are the first team to sweep the Grizzlies in 2014.

Better than Heat-Spurs: The Pacific Coast League game had more lead changes than Games 4 and 5 of the NBA Finals. Omaha snagged an early 1-0 lead before a Mark Minicozzi RBI single and Adam Duvall two-run homer put Fresno up 3-1 in the bottom of the first. The teams exchanged leads three more times as the Storm Chasers scored three in the fifth to pull away.

Wins in consecutive starts snapped, but one streak still alive: Michael Kickham entered having won his past four starts, but the Grizzlies left-hander was roughed up for six runs, three earned, in 12/3 innings. Fresno got him off the hook for a no-decision, so Kickham still can build on his winning streak.

Bucardo busted: Jorge Bucardo, a right-hander from Nicaragua, relieved Kickham in the top of the second and wasn't charged with a run in the third and fourth. But ahead 7-6 in the fifth things unraveled as he gave up three runs and was tagged with his first loss of the season.

Long-ball Duvall: Duvall proved his nickname, "Long-ball Duvall," in the bottom of the first, crushing a two-run shot an estimated 420 feet, soaring over the stadium's arches at the entrance before bouncing into the Fulton Mall.

Butterfingers: Fresno first baseman Travis Ishikawa swung a little too hard and lost the grip on his bat, which somehow missed the catcher and home plate umpire as it sailed back about 15 feet. On the next pitch, Ishikawa flied out to left field for the first out of the eighth.

Up next: The Grizzlies have their second off day in June as they travel to New Orleans for Tuesday's 5 p.m. game at Zephyr Field. Fresno will send RH Chris Heston (5-2, 3.67 ERA) to the bump against a TBA New Orleans starter.
