7 local students graduate from technology training program

The Fresno BeeJune 14, 2014

Seven Fresno County students graduated Friday from a digital literacy program that aims to spread technical knowledge and training through low-income areas.

The Digital Connectors program teaches young people basic Internet, computer, financial and leadership skills. Over 30 local students have graduated from the program in the past four years. Graduates receive a free laptop and are expected to spread their knowledge through community outreach programs.

The program is sponsored by Comcast and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County.
