Fresno firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in southeast Fresno that may be related to a string of recent serial arson fires.
No one was injured in the fire, which caused about $60,000 in damage to a vacant, two-story apartment building on the 4800 block of East Lane Avenue, between Chestnut and Winery.
Firefighters videotaped some of their attempts to control the fire.
Chief Kerri Donis had said Tuesday that fire and police investigators are studying 21 fires that have occurred since May.
She said it appears there may several arsonists in three or four different areas.
