Second Earlimart man charged in Orosi slaying

A second suspect has been charged in the May 27 death of an Orosi man, the Tulare County District Attorney's Office said Thursday.

Francisco Padilla, 21, of Earlimart, has been charged with one count of murder along with four counts of attempted murder and one count each of attempted home invasion robbery, shooting at an inhabited dwelling, assault with a semi-automatic firearm and first degree burglary.

On May 30, Rolando Magana, 18, of Earlimart, was charged with similar counts in the case.
