Mariposa County fire is 65% contained

A Mariposa County fire that started Tuesday near Highway 49 and Haigh Road and blackened 130 acres was 65% contained Wednesday night, Cal Fire reported.

The Haigh fire began about 3 p.m. near Coulterville. Madera-Mariposa-Merced Cal Fire was working to contain the fire.

Two other fires in the Fresno County foothills were fully contained Wednesday night -- the Morgan fire near Prather and the Hall fire near Squaw Valley.
