Selma High was named the California Interscholastic Federation's Academic Team Champion for girls wrestling.
The Bears, who captured the Central Section championship behind individual gold-medalists Amber Quintana (131) and Alyssa Abaloz (285), compiled a collective 3.41 grade-point average.
San Francisco International's girls cross country squad had the highest GPA of the 31 state academic team champions at 4.00. Delphi Academy's basketball team had the best GPA among boys programs with a 3.95.
Selma, the only Central Section school recognized, will receive a banner for display in the Bears' gym.
