Tulare County sheriff seeks help to ID robbers in Orosi shootout

The Fresno BeeJune 11, 2014

Two men wanted for a home invasion robbery last month are still roaming free, and the Tulare County Sheriff's Department is asking the public to help identify and find them.

Their accomplice was shot and killed during the botched robbery in Orosi in northern Tulare County, south of Fresno.

The wanted men are visible in a video surveillance image taken by cameras at Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia. They are carrying a wounded fellow robber who'd been shot.

After leaving him at the emergency room, they fled.

The wounded man, Rolando Magana, 18, of Cutler, has since has been transferred to the Tulare County Adult Pre-trial Facility infirmary. He faces a murder charge because an accomplice died in the incident, plus gang activity and other charges.

Also visible are two women passing by.

Detectives do not known their names, but would like to speak with them and show them photos of possible suspects to see if they recognize them, the sheriff's department said.

The incident started about 5:40 a.m. May 27 when four men broke into the home.

Inside were four siblings, 22, 18, 11 and 8. The oldest got a handgun from a safe and exchanged gunfire at least one of the invaders.

One robber -- Victor Hernandez Deharo, 21, of Orosi -- was killed in the gunfire.

The 22-year-old, whose name was not released, was shot but survived and was taken to a hospital

The wanted men drove a gray Chevy Astrovan, license plate number 7CHR190.
