Fresno gas prices continue to drop

The Fresno BeeJune 10, 2014

Gas prices in Fresno fell 6 cents over the last month to $4.06 for a gallon of unleaded gasoline, continuing the trend of dropping prices.

Prices in the Visalia-Tulare-Porterville area fell 8 cents to $4.06.

AAA of Northern California released its monthly gas-price report Tuesday.

The Valley is running slightly below the California average of $4.11.

Nationally, prices are at $3.65.

California has ample supplies of gasoline and with no major refinery issues, prices have been dropping for weeks, according to AAA. That could come to an end if refinery problems, political unrest or a severe hurricane season develop.
