Man allegedly gunned down by son in Fresno identified

A man allegedly shot and killed by his son Friday was identified by the Fresno County Coroner's Office as Foung Yang of Fresno.

Fresno police officers found Yang covered in blood about 6:30 p.m. at Torrey Ridge Apartments on the 200 block of South Clovis Avenue. The coroner's office said Yang was 56 years old, not 59 as originally reported,

Officers performed CPR but Yang died at the scene.

His son, Peter Yang, 25, was detained and booked into the Fresno County Jail on suspicion of murder.
