Fire destroyed a mobile home and damaged two other homes Tuesday afternoon on Cherry Avenue south of Fresno.
Firefighters from Fresno city and county departments fought the two-alarm blaze under hot weather conditions after flames erupted about noon. The property is south of Central Avenue.
Fresno County Fire Department spokesman Ryan Michaels said one firefighter was treated for heat-related issues.
The fire apparently broke out in the mobile home, which Michaels said been occupied by homeless people in the past. The blaze also knocked down a power line and a gas line was ruptured.
The cause of the fire and the amount of damage were under investigation.
