The Fresno State men's basketball team will host Cal for the first time in 37 years this fall, with the Golden Bears scheduled to visit the Save Mart Center for a nonconference game Nov. 30, the Pac-12 program announced Tuesday.

The Bulldogs, coming off a 21-win season and their first postseason appearance since 2007, last hosted Cal on Dec. 7, 1977 -- with Fresno State earning a 60-55 victory.

Last season, the Bulldogs visited Cal on Dec. 14 and the Bears won 67-56.

Fresno State has progressed from 13-20 and 11-19 in the first two seasons under coach Rodney Terry to 21-18 last season when the Bulldogs reached the championship series of the College Basketball Invitational, their first postseason tournament since playing in the NIT in 2006-07.
