Fresno breaks century-old heat record

Fresno broke a more than century-old record Monday when the high temperature hit 110.

The previous record was 108 set in 1902. Fresno surpassed that right before 5 p.m.

Tuesday's high is predicted to be 103. High temperatures are expected to dip below 100 later this week.
