Fresno Girl Scout to promote fitness awareness with tennis clinic

A Fresno Girl Scout will host a free three-day tennis clinic for children ages 8-10 at the Boys and Girls Club of Fresno County to promote healthy exercising habits.

The clinic will run on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. It will conclude Saturday with a tournament and barbecue from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Girl Scout, a member of Troop 305, will be assisted by the Clovis North tennis team at the clinic. The United States Tennis Association provided racquets, nets and tennis balls for the clinic.

The Boys and Girls Club of Fresno County is located at 343 W. Minarets Ave. in Pinedale.
