2 men sought for attacking, robbing elderly Fresno man

Fresno County sheriff's detectives are searching for two men who beat and robbed an elderly man outside his home in southeast Fresno on Friday afternoon.

Deputy Chris Curtice said the two men stole several personal items from the victim and fled. The robbery occurred about 4 p.m. The victim sustained a few scrapes and bruises but did not require medical attention.

Curtice said one suspect was described as a Hispanic man, around 25 years old, 5 foot 8 inches, thin, with black hair and wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt with black jeans. The other suspect was described as a Hispanic man, around 50 years old, 5 feet 6 inches, thin,  with grayish-black hair and wearing a black jacket with black pants.
