Woodward Park Regional Library celebrates 10 years

The Woodward Park Regional Library will hold its 10th-anniversary celebration Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 944 E. Perrin Ave. in Fresno.

Highlights include visits with Bentley, the library's mascot, and the Tail Waggin' Tutors along with a puppet show by Randel McGee.

The branch opened on May 22, 2004, serving a population of 75,000. Library patrons have checked out almost 5 million items since the library opened.
