The Fresno BeeJune 5, 2014

Rout: Rancho Cucamonga banged out 18 hits against six Visalia pitchers Thursday night in a 13-4 Cal League victory.

Slipping: The Rawhide have lost 7 of their past 9, including three in a row, and 13 of 18, as their chances to challenge the Bakersfield Blaze for the North Division first-half title continue to slip away.

Up next: Visalia RH Braden Shipley (0-0, 6.00) faces Lancaster RH Zach Morton (1-0, 8.25) at 7 p.m. Friday in the opener of a four-game series and homestand at Rawhide Ballpark. It's the clubs' first meeting this year.
