Central Unified School District will open three school libraries from June 16 to July 11 thanks to a $7,500 donation from Kaiser Permanente, the health organization announced.

The donation went to the Foundation for Central Schools, which looks to assist children who may not have access to books or the Internet in the summer months.

The Harvest Elementary, Herndon-Barstow Elementary and Central East High School libraries will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
