SNEAK PREVIEW

Premier Development League: Brigham Young at Fresno Fuego FC

Thursday: 7 p.m. at Chukchansi Park (Gates 6 p.m.)

Records: Fuego 1-3, Cougars 5-1

The skinny: Fuego needed to do some "soul-searching," coach Scott Alcorn said following last week's 3-1 PDL loss to Orange County Pateadores Blues. Fresno has won just two of six games this year, including a 1-1 record in the U.S. Open Cup. Jose "Chiva" Cuevas leads the team with two goals and one assist in four PDL games. ... Cougars are led by forward Blake Frischknecht, who has three goals and one assist in six games. ... Game is a rematch of the teams' season opener at BYU, which Cougars won 3-1 after rallying from a 1-0 Fuego halftime deficit with three second-half goals. ... Admission is free.
