The Fresno BeeJune 4, 2014

Visalia Rawhide third baseman Brandon Drury and pitchers Andrew Barbosa and Enrique Burgos have been named to the California League midseason All-Star team that will face the Carolina League stars June 17 in Wilmington, Del.

Drury, who came to the parent Arizona Diamondbacks organization from Atlanta as part of the Justin Upton trade in 2012, leads the Rawhide with 13 homers, 20 doubles and 46 RBIs.

Barbosa, a left-handed starter who will not play in the game because of an injury, has 60 strikeouts in 38 innings.

Burgos, a right-hander whose fastball was clocked at 100 mph in May, has limited opponents to a .177 batting average while going 11 for 11 in save opportunities.

First-year Inland Empire 66ers manager Denny Hocking will lead the Cal League squad. A star in the league as a player in 1992 with the then-Visalia Oaks, Hocking went on to play in 954 career games with the Minnesota Twins, Colorado Rockies and Kansas City Royals.
