Three Valley students have been selected for the 2014 U.S. Department of Agriculture E. Kika De La Garza Fellowship program.

California State University, Fresno student Imelda S. Dudley and Reedley College student Karri Hammerstrom are two of 10 education fellows. Ellie Honardoost of Fresno Unified School District is the only high school fellow in the program.

This is the 17th class of fellows, with the class consisting of 15 students from across the country. The fellows will meet USDA personnel and interact with other federal agencies.
