Roof-top training exercise for Fresno-area fire crews

The Fresno BeeJune 2, 2014

Fire crews from Fresno, Clovis and Fresno County got a chance to conduct a rooftop-training exercise and be filmed doing it Monday.

The California  High-Speed Rail Authority allowed them to cut the roof of an empty commercial building the state purchased located at 43 and 57 E. Belmont Ave. in Fresno, which formerly housed Horn Photo and other businesses.

The structure near Roeding Park is expected to be torn down to make way for high-speed rail.
