The Tulare County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help to find the remaining suspect in a Woodlake home invasion that happened just after midnight Sunday.

The suspects, 32-year-old Salvador Gonzalez-Mendoza and one other person, broke into a home in the 1300 block of East Naranjo Boulevard just after midnight and assaulted the elderly man who lived there, the sheriff's Department said.

The suspects then fled in a car that was caught by Woodlake police. Police stopped the car, and the two suspects tried to run. Gonzalez-Mendoza was caught, but the other got away, the sheriff's department said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Tulare County Sheriff's Department at (559) 733-6218.
