Double shot: Hunter Renfroe hit a pair of three-run home runs, the second coming in the eighth inning to put Lake Elsinore ahead for good as the Storm beat the Visalia Rawhide 9-7 in the California League.

Wasted start: Alex Glenn hit a three-run triple in the first and Brandon Drury had a two-run single in the second as the Rawhide built an early 6-0 lead.

Up next: RH Braden Shipley (4-2, 3.74 at low Class A South Bend) — Arizona's first-round selection in the 2013 first-year player draft — makes his California League debut for Visalia against Lake Elsinore RH Joseph Ross (5-3, 2.93) in a 1 p.m. game at Rawhide Ballpark. Shipley was last season's Mountain West Conference co-Pitcher of the Year for Nevada.
