Fresno State defenders will get a chance to pursue USC quarterback Cody Kessler on national TV when the teams meet in the 2014 season opener after it was confirmed on Thursday that Fox had picked up the game. Kessler and the Trojans got the best of the Bulldogs to end last season, winning 45-20 at the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl on Saturday, December 21.
