Tulare man dies in shooting

A 32-year-old man was fatally shot in Tulare on Wednesday afternoon, the Tulare Police Department said.

Around 4:45 p.m. officers responded to the 1200 block of South E Street to a call of shots fired and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim, who is from Tulare, was transported to Tulare Regional Medical Center where he died from his injuries. His name was being withheld until family can be notified.
