Police believe they have identified a man involved in chain-snatch robberies in southeast Fresno.

Sgt. Mark Hudson said tips received by officers through the media led officers to identify the suspect as Maurice Perry, 21.

On March 17, a man was punched in the face several times and robbed at a 98 cent store in the 4800 block of East Butler Avenue. The next day, a 55-year-old woman robbed at a laundry in the 4900 block of East King Avenue.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Perry is asked to call detective Donnie Dinnell at (559) 621-6334.
