Man stabbed in hand, robbed in central Fresno

A suspected Bulldog gang member was detained Wednesday afternoon after a man was stabbed and robbed in central Fresno.

About 1 p.m., the victim was confronted at Roosevelt and Thomas avenues. The man was stabbed in the hand, then a wallet and a cell phone was taken from him. The victim was treated by paramedics.

Police detained a man nearby and were working to establish that he was the robber.
