• Wild one: Brandon Drury hit his 11th homer of the season in the bottom of the eighth inning, a two-run shot that scored Socrates Brito, as Visalia beat California League North Division-leading Bakersfield 11-9 at Rawhide Ballpark on Tuesday night.

• Closing the door: Enrique Burgos worked around a pair of walks in the bottom of the ninth to earn his 10th save, getting pinch-hitter John Tolisano looking at a called third strike for the final out.

• Leading the way: Alex Glenn went 3 for 5 with a three-run homer in the sixth to lead Visalia's 13-hit attack.

• Up next: 6 p.m. Wednesday vs. Bakersfield at Rawhide Ballpark, with Visalia LH Spencer Arroyo (4-2, 2.97) facing Blaze RH Edward Lively (8-1, 1.03).
