A holiday crackdown campaign led to two DUI arrests in Fresno and Madera counties Friday, said Alfreda Sebasto, a spokesperson for the campaign.

Twenty-one local law enforcement agencies will set up additional checkpoints throughout the Valley for Memorial Day weekend. The additional checkpoints will continue through Monday evening.

Sebasto said the summer months are among the deadliest for fatal DUI-related crashes. Similar campaigns will be organized for the Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends.
