Jordan was one of 62 students from Central Unified's Madison Elementary who were visiting Storyland and Playland as part of an after-school literacy program that studied nursery rhymes.

Program director Jodie Velasquez said some of the children were not familiar with the nursery rhymes showcased at Storyland.

The students were treated to one ride at Playland, which is closed to the public during the week.
