Coldwell Banker Premier R.E. Fresno announced its 2013 Top Producers: Karen Avenell followed by Kyle Hoff, Danny Grubb, Brandon Gonzales and Aram Melikian.

Terril A. Efird, M.D., has been inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Radiology (ACR). ACR Fellows demonstrate a history of service to the college, organized radiology, teaching or research.


Adventist Medical Centers in Hanford and Selma were named recipients of the 2014 Women's Choice Award as one of America's Best Hospitals in Emergency Care. The award signifies both hospitals' commitment to creating an extraordinary health-care experience for women and other patients.

Future Ford of Clovis earned the 2013 Top 50 Volume & Growth Dealer Award. The award acknowledges Ford Motor Co. dealerships that have led the nation in exceptional Power Stroke diesel growth in today's competitive marketplace.

R. Stephen Heinrichs received Fresno State's Foundation Award. The award is given to an individual for meritorious services and contributions made to Fresno State and the community.

New Faces

Tina Garcia has joined the California Table Grape Commission as a research analyst. She is responsible for managing a broad-based research program focusing on consumers, the trade and table grape industry.

Laurie Primavera has been hired as executive director of clinical services for Hinds Hospice. She is a graduate of Fresno State's nursing program for both bachelor's and master's in nursing, including certification as a family nurse practitioner.


Kristina L. Dritsas has been promoted to partner at Morse Wittwer Sampson, LLP. She has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting.
