Car Wash Honors Vets

The Great American Car Wash on May 16, 2014. honored fallen Valley service members Staff Sgt. Vincent Wayne Ashlock, Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Anthony Edward "Tony" Butterfield and Army Pfc. Karina Lau. They had their portraits added to the 30-by-120-foot 9/11 mural by owner A.J. Rassamni who commissioned artists to add more than 10 Valley soldiers. The mural has room for a total of 40. The Ashlock family, Butterfield family and the Lau family were each presented with a flag that has flown over the state Capital.
