The Central Valley SPCA will be providing discounted prices on dog neutering in a clinic held Saturday (May 17) in San Joaquin.

The neutering will be done by vaccinating male dogs with a Zeuterin injection, a new FDA-approved product that is an alternative to surgical neutering. The dog will receive a physical exam and a mild sedative before receiving the injection.

Regular Zeuterin prices will be reduced by 50% from the normal cost of $50 for dogs up to 40 pounds and $60 for 41 pounds and over.

The clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at San Joaquin City Park. For more information visit www.ccspca.com or call (559) 233-7722 ext. 107.
